Stephen P. Meyer is the founder of Meyer, Ford & Glasser, PLLC, and has been practicing law since 1960. Stephen is a past president of the West Virginia Trial Lawyer’s Association and is among the best known and respected lawyers in the state. He is a preeminent trial advocate and has tried over 100 cases to jury verdict. Stephen has also been a member of the "Million Dollar Advocates" forum for many years.
Stephen is the author of the "Trial Handbook for West Virginia Lawyers," published by the West Group in 1992 and supplemented annually. He was admitted to the bars of West Virginia, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia in 1960, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 1970, and the United States Supreme Court in 2000. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a B.A. degree and received his L.L.B. from the Vanderbilt Law School.
Stephen is one of the few lawyers in the state providing legal services for Stockbroker Negligence and Investment Loss cases. He also focuses on all Civil Litigation, Railroad Law and Maritime Law.
